Yes, I know, they are traditional elements before science was an actual thing on my world.

And for the record - the ones you named? Not elements either. Gold, hydrogen, helium, boron, plutonium? Those sorts of things are elements - like from the periodic table.

Well... maybe those are the human Elements! I don't know about a table, though I do know an element of Gold can't be very useful. I mean, gold is just treasure, or dragon food!

So who are your Bearers?

Gold is both highly valuable and, yes, useful. It's used as a conductor and an absorber. Astronaut space helmets used to be lined with it to help against the sun when they went to the moon.

And what are Bearers?

My friends and I! We're the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony. You sound knowledgeable enough about Gold to be its bearer.

Uh, we don't have Bearers. Elements naturally occur within nature, some more so than others. And like I said, Harmony isn't an element.

My point is that none of them are elements. Period.

And yeah, the same of silver and copper. Copper's a better conductor, actually, and used to make brass.
