[He brings a hand to his head. Here he's wanting to fight to avoid thinking about his feelings for this man and Sylvain and now... This.]

_{[ He grinned like the cat in the cream, leaving the door open as he stepped back to go to the dresser and get out his sparring clothes to change into. What will do you Felix? ]}

[This is so stupid. But he's also getting his way. Sighing, he steps inside and plants a hand on his hip impatiently while he waits for the man to get changed.]

You don't have to look so pleased with yourself.

Why shouldn't I be pleased? I'm getting to have a shower and a date with you.

_{[ He winked before shoving down his loose pants and tugging on his proper workout ones and changing shirts as well. He didn't make much of a show of it, but hey, enjoy it anyways Felix. He grabbed shoes and slipped them on then came to Felix, slapping his shoulder. ]}

All right, let's go.

What are people even supposed to do for dates here anyway?

[Honestly he's just trying to ask how he's supposed to...do a date. But he doesn't want to admit this is his first. Still, he let's out a long suffering sight before walking out to lead the way to where they usually spar together.]

Well, we can figure it out. We could could go to where it first started - the arcade, maybe watch a movie.

That's a date?

[Oops. Inexperience is suddenly showing. Then again, there aren't any arcades or movies where he's from.]

A date is just two people doing something fun and getting to know each other better.

How is that different from everything else we do together?

[Felix...admitting he has fun with the man? No. Couldn't be.]

_{[ He paused and watched him, his smile growing very smug. ]}

So you have fun every time you're with me?

[He realizes what he said a second too late. His face turns bright red as he looks at the man before speeding up.]

I never said that, you moron. Now, hurry up.

Well, not directly, but it was certainly implied.

_{[ NOPE. Not letting it go Felix. He even laughs as he follows him. ]}

Shut up.

[It is true though. He does have...fun. Maybe it's why he still came to him even though this is one of the people he's having complicated feelings about. Maybe.

He has no idea.]

_{[ He just laughed and darted past him enough to peck his cheek and then keep trotting to the gym in a type of warm up for their spar. ]}

[His eyes go wide before he takes off after him. He's shorter but he's clearly used to needing to keep up. After all, he fights side by side with people who ride horses all the time.

When they get to the gym, he moves inside then already has himself ready to fight. Nope. He's not waiting around for this. He wants to fight.]

_{[ So impatient, as always, Felix. But it was cute, so he wasn't actually complaining about that. He did make a point of making Felix wait, just a tiny bit as he did some final stretches (look, he is not as young as he once was, he has to stretch a little or else something will twist uncomfortably and then he's in bed for a week in a very un-fun way). ]}

All right, all right, you ready?

_{[ Of course he knew he was, he was just being a dick. ]}

[With a roll of his eyes, he answers by rushing him and immediately jabbing a punch at his gut, well aware that it's likely to be dodged or blocked.]

_{[ The sudden rush is still somewhat of a surprise, but he takes it in stride. Felix always does give his best effort though, doesn't he? Another thing to like about him - this earnestness (both in and out of bed). And he himself wasn't the type to disappoint either, retaliating with a series of sharp blows, kicks, and sweeps, all meant to keep Felix on the defensive. And if he got the chance to throw, he would. ]}

[One thing can be said about this. Felix has been improving. It's not as often as he'd like but he is able to push the offensive sometimes. Of course that doesn't stop Jim from throwing him to the ground eventually, Felix grunting and rolling to get back to his feet. Or try to at any rate.]

_{[ Kirk can tell, and it's a good thing he is, since it keeps Kirk on his own toes as well. Felix won't allow him the luxury of getting lazy, and he appreciates him for that. He wasn't going to let Felix off easy either. He twisted, pushing Felix down into the mat, pressing his knee against his back and keeping his arm twisting behind him. ]}

Point to me.

[Hissing, he grinds his teeth. He knows that Jim won't hurt him but that doesn't mean the tug on his muscle isn't noticeable. What he wants to do is keep fighting but that would be stupid. In this situation, he's lost. The end.

So, he growls in irritation over losing before finally pointing at the man behind him.]

_{[ He laughed and let the other go, patting his hip and pecking the back of his neck before getting up and releasing Felix. ]}

You've gotten a lot better, especially your kicks. Those are looking great.

It doesn't matter. I still lost.

[Getting to his feet he tries to pretend like the kids didn't get to him. The red on his face says otherwise.]

Losing isn't always a bad thing. It offers many lessons.
