[Felix jumps a little and blushes bright red as his ass is groped. It's embarrassing how easily that gets to him. Glancing back, he gives him a frown then looks forward again.]
[ He poked at Felix's cheek before rinsing the cloth and grabbing another to wash himself off, working quicker than he had on Felix, and leaving Felix unmolested. What? He can't have Felix sporting a boner during the date - at least, not the beginning. That's just uncomfortable for everyone. They have to wait until they are at least three-quarters through. ]
I'm thinking the arcade - where we first me. I can teach you to play some more games. I think you'd really get into air hockey.
[He huffs the pointedly doesn't offer to help get Jim cleaned up in return. Instead he washes his hair, squeezing the water out when he's done. Looking back at the man he frowns some.]
It's a game, played with little round... sticks I guess? And a puck. You
hit the puck back and forth and try to score goals on each other.
[ Thankfully the game wasn't complicated, but it was fun. He really
did think Felix would like it. He stepped out once he had washed the soap
off and went about briskly drying himself before tugging new clothes on -
nicer, at least. A clean tshirt, nice jeans, good sneakers. He knew they
looked nice on him, a simple farm boy kind of way. ]
[So competition. Felix is clearly more interested now as he steps out of the shower then dries off. Right before going to put his clothes on. The same ones that Jim always sees him wear save for that one time when he saw him in the suit this place had him borrow.]
Well, this place does provide clothing for us. I saw we go get you a new pair of pants and a shirt. Doesn't have to be complicated, it just needs to be not covered in sweat.
... So when will you wear the Dancer attire though?
Dancing in armor just sounds uncomfortable, to be honest.
[ He imagines clinking metal and armor plates and - oof. The chaffing. But he does take the lead as Felix suggests, heading for the area where they can get replacement clothes and other little items needed for every day life. He doesn't want to put Felix in anything fancy, though Felix already wears clothes about ten times more complicated than Kirk does, but he thinks Felix will appreciate simple and functional. ]
[Little does Jim realize that it's not armor in the traditional sense of the word. Not in the slightest. But it is a battle attire so he sees no reason to wear it more often.
When they get to the area with the clothes, he looks at the options. Frowning. Where does he start with this. Usually clothes are tailored to him. What does he do with all this?]
[ He sees Felix's discomfort quickly and touches his shoulder to get
Felix to come with him. He sized him up and picked up a clean, crisp white
shirt and held it out to him and then over to the jeans. He picked a pair
and then a looser active style and handed those over. ]
Just try those for now. Let's see how you feel about them.

You said the date was after the shower.
[He's been paying attention!]

What is air hockey?

[ Kirk bypasses the initial question, frowning softly at Felix. ]
Wait, you're getting back in those? But you were just all sweaty in those.
no subject
It's not like I have other clothes. And it's pointless to wear my Dancer armor.
no subject
[ He shook his head. ]
Do you not have any other clothes you brought to change into? Don't tell me all you have is that and the dancer outfit.
no subject
[Two swords and his shield.]
no subject
[ Stars help him. ]
Right. We're making another stop before going to the arcade then. You need more than two changes of clothes.
no subject
[What is the problem here? He doesn't get it. Sighing, he continues to put his clothes on regardless.]
no subject
You might wash them, but you just sweated in them. It's not sexy unless we're actually sparring or working out.
[ Please, Felix. Surely one of your friends before now has told you these things. ]

[Clothes on, he plants his hand on his hip.]
I won't wear my Dancer attire. So what do you propose I do?
no subject
... So when will you wear the Dancer attire though?

[Felix sighs and shakes his head.]
Very well, if it will get you to stop commenting on the fact, we can go see about getting me new clothes.
no subject
[ I mean, you do you Felix, just not something he's ever heard before. ]
Really? Uh, all right, I guess we should go by the shop then before we head to the arcade. Detour time.
no subject
[Obviously. Why would he wear that as an every day outfit? That makes no sense at all.]
Lead the way. You know where you wish to go.

I'll need new shoes too.
[Taking the clothes, he then stops again.]
Where do I change?
no subject
We can worry about those second.
[ He pointed to a little alcove with a curtain. ]
In there. I'd ask if you need help, but you're a smart boy, I think you can work out how a zipper works.

[He frowns at him but goes to get changed. But is that him saying sex is on the table?
Maybe.]
