We have lost track of our Fade expert, I fear. I hope you met Solas while he was with us. He was gifted at predicting the location and timing for the appearance of rifter arrivals.
[ he falls into explaining it all very easily. ]
It would be useful to have such an ability at the Inquisition's disposal once more. Any similarities in the various arrivals must be noted. Already, the location of the rifts has been mapped. This is merely the next step.
[ Those were good points. Not that he thought Thranduil would do
anything untoward with the information, although deep in the back of his
mind he had uneasiness about the Inquisition itself. At the least it did
mean the ability to go pick up the new Rifters so they didn’t wander about
aimlessly. It might even mean a way home.]
All right then. You wanted to know what was happening to me in my home
world right? Before the rift brought me through?
[ He made a soft sound, as if considering something. ]
I was on my ship, in my cabin, playing a solo match of tri-dimensional chess. I don't remember what our exact heading was, after so long, unfortunately, but I do know we were warping. That is, moving faster than the speed of light. I remember it as suddenly feeling like I was falling through something. But if I'm the only one that came through, the actual rift itself could not have been that large.

If this somehow leads to new information about how we arrived here, perhaps some evidence that might quiet the Chantry, it must first go to the Inquisition leadership, and they will decide what is to be done with it.
That is fairly unlikely. At most, perhaps we will be allowed to restart the interviews.

[ His tone is curious, if just a touch reserved. ]

[ the pause in conversation is likely so he can take that down. ]
If this comes to anything, I am afraid I would need to have a report issued, rather than speak with you first.

[ There is an audible furrowing of his brows in his words. ]
What exactly does that mean?

Or, in the event that it does, you could provide said collected information to the Inquisition leadership and to fellow Rifters at the same time.
The best defense is a good offense, as they say.
