But he didn't run from this. He didn't want to, could feel the numb echoed back through the bond that had come between them by accident. An arm slid around Spock's shoulder, the other gripping his bicep as he tugged him closer.
Kirk's lips parted, tongue darting out to press against Spock's own, seeking entrance, wanting more, needing it, the desire thrumming through the bond. ]
no subject
Oddly enough, this felt like home.
Tentatively, Spock pressed back with his own tongue, his mind sparking with delight at the texture and taste. The cold air was an amazing contrast to the heat of the moment... and the Vulcan completely forgot what lead them to this. The only thing that mattered was Jim.]

His mind swirled and tumbled, but really it boiled down to one basic fact - he wanted to be here, being kissed by Spock and held in his arms. He couldn't think of anything else except the press of his tongue against his first officer's, the way their bodies fitted together.
Kirk showed no hesitation in deepening the kiss further, in fact gaining a sort of fervor and moaning against Spock's mouth. Nothing mattered but the taste of Spock on his tongue - sweet like fruit, though he wasn't sure what kind, his scent so close, something earthy, like a desert. All of it encouraged him to kiss more, to gasp and moan as fingers slid into the dark hair to hold him close. ]

Unconsciously Spock's mind sought out the bond, blowing it wide open as his body began to respond to Jim. He could feel... and it was beautiful, just like Jim.]
no subject
His kisses became hungry, frantic, desperate for the other in a way he had never wanted from anyone else. ]
no subject
Mind whirling, he couldn't help but use their bond to speak.]
Wani ro yana ra aisha T'hy'la...
[He didn't want to think beyond this... because part of him knew that the moment he started to think, he would find something wrong with this. Was it purely the mistletoe? Was the kiss sincere? Was it a side-effect?
But then, he could believe the bond... and it sang.]

The mistletoe's effects released, and Kirk jerked back for air, panting hard, his lips kiss bruised, cheeks flushed, eyes wide as he stared at Spock. A part of him wanted to continue, the other part wanted to run, and he found himself quivering, unsure which action to take. His mind reeled and swirled and he thought he would drown again, heart hammering in his chest. ]
What... what did you say to me?
no subject
Should he give Jim that translation of what he said? It would verbally solidify what this was, and maybe neither of them was ready for that.]
Are... are you certain you wish to know? [Spock couldn't help but look at Jim's lips, his flushed face... it sparked desire in the Vulcan and he did indeed wish to continue what they were doing. Was that wrong?]
no subject
Yeah.. I mean... it's kind of engraved in my brain now I... I deserve to know, don't I?
[ Somehow, it came out pleading, like he wasn't sure Spock would actually tell him, that he would clam up and leave him him nothing. And he couldn't bear that. He reached along the bond on instinct, his confusion, worry, need, desire, and so much more radiating out. He wasn't good at separating them, not like Spock, and it was clear the squall would not be so easily quelled. ]

He felt Jim's push against the bond, and gently he pushed back, radiating a warm glow of everything he felt for the Captain.
Stepping forward, Spock once again closes the space between them, but makes sure that they do not touch. The moment feels delicate right now, as if one wrong move and Jim will bolt, never to be seen again.]
Wani ro yana ra aisha means I love you. The title T'hy'la is what you are to me. I hope that this does not upset you.
[Spock held his breath, hoping beyond hope that this was repairable. Or was it even broken to begin with?]
no subject
[ I love you. Words he usually feared, ran from like a man running from demons. And even now he still wanted to bolt, but another part of himself kept in there. Maybe it was the feeling he got from the thrumming of the bond, or the way they had kissed. It was something that kept him there, even though he shook.
He gulped. ]
It doesn't... upset me. I just...
[ He wasn't ready for this. He had just woken up, from behind dead, he still felt shattered inside by so many things, and even his body wasn't what it had been. It was a lot to take on, an emotion piled atop on many others. But he didn't want to run from it either. That didn't seem right. ]
Let me... process it, okay? It's a lot right now, you know?
[ He tried to reach out in the bond, to touch Spock, to reassure him. He didn't want to run away, and he wasn't, but he needed to fix himself first. That much he knew. When he still woke up at night with nightmares, when sometimes he wasn't sure he'd wake up at all... He wasn't any good to anyone if he couldn't work those things out first. And if anyone knew how broken he still was, it was Spock. ]
no subject
Leaning forward, Spock gently leaned his forehead against Jim's, letting his eyes flutter shut as he gently caressed the bond in return.]
I will wait forever if need be.
[It was truth.]
no subject
[ He let him, not minding when they were secluded like this. It felt like when Spock had saved him from that darkness inside of himself during their first meditation session. He knew he could lean on him, and even now he grasped at that. ]
You'd better not kiss anyone else like that while those stupid mistletoe are around, okay?
[ It was meant to be a joke, but a part of him meant it. He didn't want Spock kissing someone else like that, and he supposed that said something. But he couldn't think on it, didn't want to think on it. He took a shuddering breath and stepped back, a cold wind slapping at his cheeks. ]
Come on. I need something warm to drink.
no subject
Captain... Jim. I have something I should tell you before you hear it from anyone else. While I would never embrace anyone but you like that willingly... I did have an encounter with Doctor McCoy earlier.
[Cat's out of the bag... enjoy.]
no subject
Oh?
[ His brows went up, surprised, and something flared him in, hot and sick. Jealousy. And with Bones of all people? He wasn't sure if he wanted to laugh it off or strangle both of them. For now, he clamped it down, not wanting Spock to "hear" any of it, though he was sure he heard some. ]
Do tell, Spock. Full report.
no subject
It was an accident, and an event that was completely out of our hands. [That was all he was going to say.]
no subject
What exactly do you mean?
[ He still hadn't picked up on it being mistletoe yet, but then, he had not really been looking and been more concentrated on the fact he had been trying to devour Spock via inhaling his mouth. ]
no subject
[Spock was suspicious about Jim's reaction.. he wasn't jealous was he. Spock took a cautionary step towards the Captain, closing the gap between them.]
no subject
[ He didn't move, but he stiffened a little, still thrown off by what happened, not sure how to digest it. ]
The mistletoe? Didn't we go through that last time we were here too?
no subject
[Gingerly, Spock rested a hand on Jim's shoulder.] Please note that I do not feel for Doctor McCoy as I feel for you, Jim.
no subject
Trust me, Spock, the thought never crossed my mind. You'd have to be a sadist to want to get with him.
[ Which was being a tad unfair - all right, a lot unfair. But it was that jealousy poking out again, rearing its head at the thought, and confusing Kirk all the more. He had never really cared who Spock had been with before, and on the ship...
On the ship there had been... ]
Spock... what about Uhura?
no subject
What about Lieutenant Uhura?
[They were really going to get into this now? Spock had been dreading this conversation, but it was yet another reminder of why Luceti sucks.]
no subject
As in, you two were kind of serious, even if you were fighting, before we came here.
[ What if she came? What then? What would...? It hurt to think about it, and the flash of that he didn't quite tap down in time to keep it from getting to Spock. ]
no subject
[Cryptic enough for you?]
no subject
[ Not enough. He can tell what the other is alluding to, and he's not sure how to feel about that either.
He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck, looking away. ]
I think... I should keep walking. Need to cool down, you know?
