World 03 - Returning to Normal Space [ Action / Audio ]
[ Okay, this sucked. This really, really sucked. To be quite honest he wasn't very sure how long he had been locked up and poked and prodded, but it was long enough and he had never been quite so happy for fresh air and trees. He just hated that he was jumping at every little crack and tweet. He hadn't been this twitchy since... well, he couldn't remember. Maybe his first big storm, but what did it matter? He was twitchy, but wouldn't you be after being held captive for so long?
And he was seriously out of shape if this jaunt through the wood was making him pant and sweat. He gulped, aching everywhere, and pretty sure that his already bruised up body would not thank him for this later. In fact, it was not thanking him now. It was violently protesting, and he finally gave him and found a place to ease himself down and sit.
He thought it must have been some sort of cruel mercy that his captors had given him back his journal-thing when he woke up inside the forest of his original birdcage. He glared at it for a minute as he tried to remember how to turn it on, and finally got it going, so a little image of him appeared to whoever was listen. ]
So, contrary to what I assume is popular belief, I'm not dead. But, uh, could use some help making it all the way home, you know? I'm sitting in the woods, hugging a tree, so come and find me. I don't plan on moving any time soon.
[ He doesn't think he looks to bad to others, at least. He has a few bruises around his jaw and nose, but otherwise does not seem overly harmed. Though the bruises are a lovely shade of blue and green at this point. ]
[ooc: Yup, he's back from kidnapping!! With a little side-effect: his flirt skills are going to be seriously cramped for a bit, since anytime he sees a girl, he'll get physically ill. Don't take it personally ladies.]

Re: [Video]
[And seriously glad he had friends in this place.]
Wish I had made it back sooner. When did it get cold?
[Tromp tromp out into the woods]
It's November now, and you've been missing since September. Is there anything weird you can feel about yourself? Possible side effects of whatever was done?
Re: [Video]
Damn, that's... that's a month or more... so this thing isn't lying to me.
[He groaned, leaning his head back against said tree he was hugging.]
I'm banged up, but I don't feel anything else off.
[He keeps on moving, sensing that he can't be too terribly far off.]
And yea, it's November. November 15th. You...missed quite a bit. But you're back, and I'm not far.
Re: [Video]
Well... fill me in while I wait.
[He shrugs and starts]
Well, the last time I saw you was shortly before the village lost their memories. I suspect you were here for that.
The big thing is you missed a draft. A bad one. But I'd rather not discuss that over journals, if that's alright with you. I'm nearly there.
[He closes his eyes in concentration, reasserting himself with the Force. It's not long before he arrives and tosses the man the jacket.]
Afternoon.
Re: [Video]
Is that what it is? Afternoon?
[He gestures to the coat, and unslings the backpack to pull out some gloves and handwarming gel-packs, tossing them over]
Use these, lets get you inside.
Re: [Video]
But he was a big boy and wasn't going to pout about it - to much, that is.]
Okay, give me a second and I'll start limping along again...
[He pushed at the tree to lever himself up, finding his feet and sighing in a blast of mist.]
All right, which way home?
That way, it's really not that far, but I sort of regret not bringing the repulsor sled. You think anything's broken?
Re: [Video]
[He hooks his arm over the other's shoulder, grasping as they work slowly back towards the village.]
So.. anything else besides this 'draft'?
[He moves slowly, letting Kirk lean as much as he needs.]
You'll probably hear about the draft a lot, but nobody'll likely give you many specifics. The short of it was a group of us were conscripted to fight against those Third Party guys. But a virus got loose, and it drove those infected rather insane. A bunch of us managed to make a cure, but a lot of people died.
Re: [Video]
Sounds dirty, if you ask me.
[But he was proud to hear about Spock. It made him want to smile through his bruised cheeks and jaw]
I'll have to ask him to give me the detail of his heroic efforts. It'll be like pulling teeth.
[He does laugh about Spock though]
Spock went in with us to clear out a hospital, and he worked on the cure team. Without him? Well, I'd be dead. And so would Ami, and a lot of other friends.
Re: [Video]
[That was his Vulcan.
He looked up and sighed when he spotted the village through the trees.]
Never thought I'd actually be happy to see all those homes...
[Luke nods and smiles at the houses]
After that draft, I couldn't wait to get back. This place does have pretty comfortable beds after all.
Re: [Video]
[He looked at Luke and gave his shoulder a squeeze.]
And good people.
Right back at you, Captain.
Now, lets get you into the clinic first. I'll check you over and then get you home.
Re: [Video]
Alright, tell me where it's hurting?
Re: [Video]
[He shifted out of his shirt, revealing a myriad of bruises over his arms, back, and chest. The thing was, they seemed methodically put there, in a pattern. They weren't random in the least.]
[Luke tosses Kirk a packet of pills, and offers a cup]
Take that. Anti-inflammatory for the swelling. And if you give me a minute, I'll try and start the healing process.
Re: [Video]
[He pops the pill though. It was a bit archaic, but they worked. He swallowed loudly and sighed.]
All right, let's do this.
[Luke shakes his head and stretches out a hand, drawing on the healing power of Nala. Blue-white light poured from his hand and into Kirk, soothing aches and pains, and beginning to seal any open cuts and speed bruise recovery.]
Re: [Video]
So, is this part of the Force then?
