Nothing that I haven't already told you, I'm afraid. The maintenance for the machines is terrible. And it seems deliberate.

There always has to be someone or something out in the universe looking to make things difficult. And worse, putting people's lives at risk..

No. I don't think anyone in the Fleet would have done that.

[ He wished the Jedi were here. It made action easier. Not that he's never acted alone, but he finds himself self-conscious of his title here. ]

Star Fleet is supposed to be neutral. But there are times... there are times when neutrality, I think, is just as bad as being the one causing harm.

Your telekinesis - like what you did in the arena that day. We don't know what we'll find, and having some capable of moving objects or opening doors from a distance could be useful. Not to mention such a method might be gentler on the terraformer than other aggressive methods we might have to employ. I want to explore the thing, after all, not bring it crashing down.

We have a term for that where I'm from - Murphy's Law. Which is exactly why your presence would be much appreciated.

Murphy's Law states that anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

It just means to never expect anything to go exactly as you plan for it too.
