Caboose is happy for the contact, fingers curling and twining with Kirk's for the rest of their dinner. He was half tempted to scooch his chair over so they could sit side by side but you can't behave poorly at Disney land. He'd just have to wait and be good until they could get back to somewhere private.
Which lead to the next surprise for the night! When they left the dining hall of Cinderella's palace a sparkling carriage sat waiting for them with both prince and princess waiting for them. There's less acting and more genuine joy from them as they congratulate the couple on a very successful proposal and well wishes of future happiness before they stand back to let Caboose and Kirk take their places in the parade that night. It was fun to wave and smile at the crowds when they first set off, but Caboose was so easily drawn back to his lover, wanting to be affectionate but not inappropriately so. Still, the shadows of the rounded carriage hid any kisses and wandering hands even as the fireworks for the night lit up the sky.
Excited and almost breathless, Caboose held Kirk's hand tight as he led the way back to their suite. It took a few tries to get the key card into the slot before the door swung open to let them in. "Home at last!" he exclaims with a huff of laughter, turning to curl his arms around Kirk's waist and nuzzle his hair.
