It does seem like they'll be attending a lot of mutual meetings, and Steve can pretty much always eat. So a post-meeting meal is definitely not out of the question.

But anticipating the future is something to do later, while right now is hopefully something to enjoy. Steve offers a little salute at the request, and heads for the bar, doubling that order because a beer sounds good to him, too. He generally drinks for taste, so hopefully Kirk won't mind what Steve brings back, finding the booth easily and sliding into the seat opposite his companion, setting one glass down for each of them. "I'm not a fan of places where the music is so loud, I can't hear myself think," he admits, almost a little sheepishly, but that's one of the reasons he likes this place. There are, actually, a few bars that SHIELD personnel tend to frequent. This one is the quietest, most laid-back version Steve's been introduced to, at least.

He knows it's maybe not great, taking Kirk somewhere that is still a bit work-related. But it seems like a good first step, at least.
