Jim's scent was no easier to deal with, particularly with how intense it was, how it filled the whole room now that Jim had spent hours stuck in here. He had to take a long, deep breath before he made his way over to Jim's bed, careful not to sit down on it this time around as he took his tricorder to get some readings from him.

"Unfortunately I don't think calling your doctor's going to fix anything this time," he said, though he didn't mind Jim calling him. He'd rather he did that than just sitting here suffering from this. "Your levels are off, which isn't surprising. I can't tell you how much worse it's going to get, but it's likely to get worse, at least in the next two or three days. You're running a slight fever so I'll give you something to lower your temperature, and we should make sure you eat something and drink some water, at least."
