It wasn't at all a reminder that Jim was here, whole, and well; he'd gotten over the maniac need to be certain a few months ago. Now it only cropped up after his worst nights and during leave? Those were remarkably absent. Not being on the ship helped. Having Jim around helped more.

Avoiding the scene hadn't been possible with how damn social his new crew, his friends were; let alone how damn determined Jim was for him to find something. But lately the thought had been less repulsive to him, the wounds less sore. "Maybe later."
