[ It didn't take a genius to figure out Kaidan was nervous, or at the
least not sold on this. Kirk was buzzed, maybe even just this side of
drunk, but he could tell. As much as he wanted to do this, he wasn't going
to try and force Kaidan either. But he wasn't saying no right now either,
so perhaps he could want it. Gentle steps, he thought. Little pushes. Just
to see where he went. He wouldn't deny that being rebuked would sting, but
he would understand. Some folk were like that, just not ready for whatever
their reason.
But hopefully at least Kaidan would let him sleep over and cuddle. That was
always nice.
A quick glance around the room didn't tell him much other than Kaidan's
assertion he was a soldier was likely true. Kirk slid the door closed
behind them, setting down the bottle he had brought them from the bar.
Hands freed, he stepped into Kaidan, wrapping his arms loosing around his
waist and standing in close enough for their noses nearly to touch. ]
